The idea to set-up a Foundation entitled to Manlio Resta born in the summer 2008 during the organization of a scientific-academic seminar to commemorate the centenary of his birth. The intention was officially communicated on November 28th during the seminar which has been held at the Italian Banking Association under the high patronage of the Italian President of Republic, the sponsorship of the Italian Presidency of Ministers Council and the Faculty of Economic within the University of Rome “la Sapienza”. After the mentioned event Resta family on December 22nd created at a notary in Rome the “Fondazione Manlio Resta - Onlus” (Manlio Resta Foundation – non profit).

The Manlio Resta Foundation received the official communication number 24036 of its inscription within the no-profit organization registry held at the Lazio Regional Department of the Italian Tax Autority.
